[NotsoSad Babbling Spotting]
I was doing an image search for John August, the editor of
"Consultations in Feline Internal Medicine" and after several pages of
speedway photos I happened upon an image entitled simply "john".
The amazing thing is that amongst a myriad of speedway riders, named
John, who happe ...

Timeslip?
11 Mar 2007 9:20:43 +0000
Any of you guys remember Timeslip from circa 1970? UK series with two
young teenagers travelling through time? Commander Traynor? The Ice Box?
The Day of the Clones?
I bought the boxed set recently and started watching, and they're
surprisingly good, black and white though, as all the colour originals
were ...

Freecycling old TVzones
Sun, 04 Mar 2007 09:55:19 +0000
I'm looking at a fair few old TV Zone mags, from issue 72 (Nov 1995)
to 95 (Oct 1997).
They don't seem to be selling on ebay, and I would rather they went to
an appreciative home than the recycling bin. (I will however be
keeping the B5 special!)
Anyone interested in having them for postage costs?

sad actor spotting - Space 1999
14 Feb 2007 23:35:45 +0000
I just watched what I think is probably the best written episode of Space
1999, and its probably old news but, in the story where Christopher Lee
and his Elven friends come to visit on their way to Earth, and the Earth
politician from Alpha steals a ride by holding the base to ransom, and
then dies a terrible de ...

Transatlantic 10 = 11 Point (London, April 14)
13 Feb 2007 15:46:42 -0800
A few weeks after the successful "Arubalon Project" Point on March 18,
2006, I posted to UMTSB5 that the date of that gathering had not been
my first choice. Instead, had circumstances been more obliging, I
would have called a Point for April 14, 2006:
"Why April 14? It would have marked the tenth anniversar ...
