Harry Hill - Burp & Framed     Mon, 09 Nov 2009 14:18:59 +0000
He really is funny, genuine laugh out loud moments, he doesn't often get a mention here so I thought I'd bring it up. With only Stricly come dancing on BBC1 and Primeval ages away he has the teatime slot sorted!! Good stuff. can't help thinking that he is a trained doctor as well! ...

The Secret life of the Berlin Wall     Mon, 09 Nov 2009 14:12:59 +0000
I was expecting much more from this , perhaps I was wrong to expect a potted history type of programme. They went for the human angle and it worked some of the time but often it didn't - the interspersed story about the circus for instance. I would have like to see more about the tunnel, perhaps some of the ac ...

Sunday film 1 - Octopussy     Mon, 09 Nov 2009 13:54:09 +0000
A pity they decided to skip Moonraker and For your eyes only in this enjoyable Sunday afternoon re run series.I've never got on with this film , it seems weak and half hearted - the circus setting embarrassing. Always thought they were rough with the Faberg¨¦ egg , clattering it about, putting it in the pocke ...

Sunday film 2 - Vertical limit     Mon, 09 Nov 2009 13:54:05 +0000
I didn't l;ook at the write up on this and hadn't realised it was on - the kids called out it was a film about climbing and I thought *great - Into thin Air* but no - 2 mins in and Robin minus batman and the small woman from Mentalist were dangling off a mountain with their dad. Has Bill Paxton ever played an ...

Sunday film 3 - Die Hard 4.0     Mon, 09 Nov 2009 13:54:02 +0000
Has to be my most enjoyed film of the Sunday three - all action , eye popping special effects , silliness and humour. It had Cyril Raffaelli in it too - the free running bloke who did District 13 the French action film , he does eye popping free running stunts. I saw Tuvok in it from ST:Voyager in it as well! ...

Top Gear new series (and in HD)     09 Nov 2009 12:07:17 GMT
A new series of Top Gear starts this coming Sunday, and for the first time, it is going to be shown at the same time on BBC-HD. Whether it is shot in HD or just crappy upscaled PAL doesn't say on the website. ...

The Andrew Marr Show: Michael Caine on the theatre!     Sun, 8 Nov 2009 22:18:02 -0000
Marr asked Caine if he would ever appear on the stage again... 'No - I had eight years of that - the theatre is like a woman you love very much who treats you very badly - movies are like a mistress you can do anthing with'! LOL Nick from England ...
