Briefly, yes there is one mediator between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus (Who is Himself God taken on flesh and become man),
and while RC and probably some Orthodox get overboard on the
saints thing, properly "prayer" to the saints is request for them
to pray to God for us, they being on better terms with Jesu ...
