There's petition to No 10 Downing Street running at the moment raising
the issue of delivery charges to the Highlands, big feature in last
Tuesdays P&J about 1300 folk have signed so far why not add your names
to the list and please spread the word

English moving to Scotland

Both my parents (and their parents) were born in Scotland; my father
came to England as an infant and my mother was brought to England as a
young child. They married and lived in London where I was born. I
speak like an 'Eastender'.

Delivery Charges to the Highlands

I find it very unfair that nearly all delivery companies, even the
Royal Mail's Parcel Force, charge 100% extra to deliver goods to the
Highlands of Scotland. I can see the logic of charging extra to
deliver to the islands but not to places on main roads like Fort
William and Oban.
