OK, what would you do?     Fri, 5 Jun 2009 09:00:20 +0100
Last night, I posted this question on another newsgroup, again off topic, but some interesting answers/comments/conversations have come out. I just wonder how the same question fares here :-)) You wake up in the morning, you are in charge of the country and it is your task to get the country out of the mess ...

Measuring Land     Fri, 5 Jun 2009 08:08:49 +0100
I want to measure the perimeter of a rather large piece of land which contains houses but I am able to walk all round. I feel that one of those gizmos you see highways etc, a wheel on a handle, would do the trick. Anyone got one I can borrow please? Or even bring it over and measure the land for me? Mike ...

Is there anywhere on the Island where these can be repaired? Mine are kerb marked but a friend has one damaged. "Potholed" he thinks Mike -- . ...

Pop Festival     Wed, 27 May 2009 15:20:50 -0700 (PDT)
Any campers out there heard the rumour, no cooking on the campsite this year! Apparently all camping stoves & BBQs are banned, I assume this is to force people to buy from the overpriced food tents/vans but could they enforce this if you cooked inside your tent? ...

Crown Mafia at work     Fri, 22 May 2009 06:34:05 +0100
Judicial criminal former recorder John H Fryer-Spedding of Mirehouse, Bassenthwaite, Keswick, Cumbria, still free after UK corrupt judiciary and Crown failed/refused to carry out their public duty, Spedding has forfeited the property named Mirehouse, as compensation for his serious crimes used against me. ...
