We found an injured sparrowhawk in the veg garden this afternoon. It's got a
broken wing, and couldn't fly off. At the moment we're waiting for the RSPCA
man to come and rescue it, but it seems to have got tired of standing
motionless on top of the compost heap, and is now attempting - and failing -
to fly off ...
