3 year warranty

Ok, so after the 3rd time of the 360 going wrong in the first 3 years, I
demanded a replacement console.
I got a new one that was only made Oct 08.
However, I was advised that I only got a 1 year warranty on this!
How does that work?
Surely I should get a 3 year warranty with it??

Just got back on Live after a long absence but my little avatar says 'Cant
see me'. I did a good google but was amazed to find not a sausage. As far as
i can see none of my privacy settings are enabled except for 'member created
content'.
Any idea whats going on?

Powering off the 360

So after deciding to be a bit more green I thought I'd start turning my 360
off from the mains. I usually don't play after days on end, so I figured
this would save some energy.
Turning it on today I find that I have no picture. I've connected the 360
via HDMI, so presumably there's some kinda setup screen I' ...

gaming.... All of a sudden the Xbox freezes midway through a game of
Halo 3 - complete screen freeze, controller not responding, only option
