in Rome. The graves of Shelley and Keats are there, and all sorts of
curiosities. It's a bit like Highgate cemetery with 19th century

Dongles

A couple of weeks ago I bought one. It arrived and I put it on one
side. Tonight I arrived home after teaching evening class to find my
land-line broadband broken - router apparently OK but not getting a
connection to the outside. It has happened before and will be put right
in a few hours.
So here I am ...

School federations?

The new idea bein run up the flagpole at the Labour Party conference
seems to be federatin schools, basicly as a cost-savin exercise. They
are trumpetin this as 'improvin standards' but the objective seems to
be savin money and losin staff: two billion quid taken out of
