Been seeing things - flashing lights and black dots. So got an emergency
appointment at Specksavers today.
Two hours, a lot of tests and some stinging eye drops later, I'm told I have
a suspected tear in my retina.
So I now have an emergency appointment at the eye department of Ipswich
Hospital, 9 o'clock ...

In praise of... apples

Havin been put on 'light duties' in the monstery last week, I got
really fed up after a few days of peelin, choppin, cookin and freezin
apples. I got into a state where I was dreamin about apples. So I
insisted that my rabit paw was much better so I could do outdoor work
