Hi,
I am having problems working out this percentage problem, which I'm
sure is really very simple.
Five partners receive shares in the following splits: 15%, 15%, 15%,
27.5%, 27.5%
The partnership wants to introduce a new partner and give him a share
that will be equal to the 15% guys new split.

marking my son's homework.

he arrived at the correct answer
S-(n-1)d
however, he went further and arrived at
S+d-dn
do I mark him correct for condensing further
if not, why?

Feedback on Maths investigation tasks requested

As I try to write new investigations for KS2 (or rather, re-write old
