Best system builders?

It's coming around to that time of year when I start arguing with myself
whether to get a new comp or not, and it looks like this time I'm going
to win.
Any recommendations for good systems builder for a high-end box
primarily intended for work use but with a bit of gaming thrown in?

Now avoiding them like the plague unless they are people that I have

Just bought a tape Walkman. Amazon site said 'company a' was selling
the item, got email giving an individual's details. Got the item with
another company's stamp on the envelope. No invoice included either.

Received a graphics card on 2 Sept. Went back immediately due to a
fault. Received it back 10 Sept.
Now it's failed completely. Would prefer a refund. Would this be likely
in the circumstances?

Dell - WTF?

Ordered a laptop on the 9/9, with a delivery date (on or before) 21/9.
After being stuck in 'pre-production' from the 10/9, no laptop yesterday.
Called customer service and was told that the email & status system was
down, & my laptop would not be ready for another 7 days. I could call again
Monday for an up ...

Hi David,
I used Rankhour last Thursday 13th, for first time. Ordered camera at 3.15pm and chose basic postage - it was delivered at noon next day by courier. Tremendous service. The camera was ?¡ê80 cheaper than elsewhere. Good Luck.

Too late to return?

Received an X1950GT on 2 Sept. Was returned on 5 Sept. Repaired, and
returned to me 10 Sept.
Now discover what I thought was a problem with my preceding card, is
probably a problem with my motherboard.
Would prefer to return the new card, even at the expense of a restocking
fee.

DABS invoices

How do you get an invoice out of DABS these days?
Tried ringing. Tried pressing the button for e-mail invoice on the
item in my account. No joy.
Used to be that they'd come with the goods. Those were the days.
