servicing DLT-8000 drive in a Sun L9 tape array - what's out there

Hi,
The DLT-8000 in my L9 tape array has started to run really s-l-o-w and I
suspect it's in serious need of servicing (or simple replacing with a good
DLT-8000 while it's serviced).
Are there any service kits around for DLT-8000's supplied either by Sun or
generic kits from HP (who make the L9's) or Quantu ...

Hi,
I have an A35100 storage array connected by fibre channel to a couple of
E420s. The 420s are using veritas disk manager to manage the raw disk
space (mostly storage for Oracle datafiles).
One of the logical drives on the array is a 4 disk RAID1 array and I'm

Just wondering what the best methods are for moving filesystems off a defective
(still works but giving hard errors on some sectors) 20 GB disk in a Raq4i onto
