Laptop battery

I need a replacement battery for an ageing Toshiba Satellite S3000 series
laptop. Toshiba want ¡ê75 for it! But at least I'd have peace of mind.
Anybody know of a place which stocks good quality batteries but at a

Dead E-System 3086

Hi all,
Cousin has an e-system 3086 which is totally dead. Was working, now it
has no sign of life. She's bought a new laptop, so I had the hdd out of
hers today and got all her data off and onto her new machine. She's told
me to just bin the dead laptop but it seems a shame to if it's just
something simple ...

Hi all,
I've recently been given an e-System 3086 (ECS G335) that needed some
TCL.
It's now nearly sorted (still a random intermittent screen connector
somewhere) but I've noticed some weirdness under the WiFi.
Under Windows (XP/Vista/W7) you need to press the WiFi button to turn
the WiFi function on.
