Will any of these laptop graphics circuits output 1680 x 1050 to an external monitor?

Can anyone help?
I need afairly inexpensive laptop that will feed an external monitor
at at least 1680x1050 pixel resolution.
I have several discounted laptops to choose from, (all of the Advent
brand) and according to the specs they have the following graphics
circuits:

Alternative to Compaq/HP W200 wireless LAN multiport

Just got gifted a Compaq Presario 905EA. Is there a "g" alternative to the
W200 wireless block (which only does "b")? Alternatively, anyone know if
the antenna connections can be rerouted to the Mini-PCI slot and a mini-PCI
adapter installed (replacing the existing modem)?

NO Sound

Got a Tiny (mitec) 8355 laptop, just realized there's no sound. didn't know
before as I had the sound muted. although it was working 100%. I've
reinstalled the drivers this made no difference. although it will record,
also no sound from earphones. I get a "crackle" when I put the earphones in.
anybody any idea ...
