unknown install

For some unknown reason, my computer thinks it is part way though an
insatallation of photogallery. The only CD's/DVD's that I have used
before this happens was Serif registry cleaner and Code software's
password manager.
I can't get rid of the install screens. Any ideas anyone?

of program as opposed to a Word/Excel template.

First drive runs win 98 with a second partition of utils and progs, as I
do a lot for the older end users of computers.
Second drive has XP pro with a second partiton that holds most of the

Why 4 pairs in 100Base-T
Thu, 4 Jun 2009 14:32:46 GMT
Connections between desktop computers and hubs/routers customarily us RJ45
copnnectors and cat5 cable carrying 4 twisted pairs.
But, AIUI, only 2 of those pairs are used for the protocol, so what are
the other two for? given that cat5 cable does not come cheap, surely
2-pair cable would be far more economical.
