Hi all,
I have Vista business on a Q6600 HPdc7800 with outlook 07, with one pop
account, and the outlook connector for access to hotmail. AVG 8.5.
It's all been sweet uptil the last couple of days. There were acouple of MS
updates, which I allowed.

laptop battery problems ??

A friend has a laptop (E-systems 4213 ) and has gone through 2 power adaptor
bricks in 3 weeks.
I had a look and thought it might be the battery so took it out, attached a
similar ac adapter and the laptop runs fine. On battery only it boots to the
vista splash screen then switches off. I have no desire to tr ...

Partition manager for dynamic drives?

Is there any software available, commercial or otherwise, that will support
the management of partitions across dynamic disks? Had a look at Acronis and
it doesn't seem to mention dynamic disks in the blurb.

I have this working now using one of the 72GB SAS drives I have. If I
attach the 146GB drive it still doesn't appear in Windows (on the same
motherboard connector with the same SAS cable).
The only difference I can see on the drives is with the power.
146GB:
VDC AMPS
+5 1.0
+12 0.3
72GB

Advice - Super G Wifi

Looking for a bit of advice here.
Just had a batch of laptops in with Atheros "Super G" wifi cards fitted.
When set up and drivers installed the only Wifi network they pick up is the
local BT Openzone (to which they also automatically connect without
prompting for some reason).
I've never come across this ...
