It's all coming together     Mon, 29 Jan 2007 10:29:47 GMT
so the letter says. It appears that Virgin Mobile, Virgin Net, ntl and Telewest are to be assimilated into a new entity called Virgin Media.. And it seems that from February it will bring us broadband that will let us download as much music and movies as we like. No mention of the fair use agreement this stage. ...

Oh bloody hell I'm back on Virgin by default!     Sat, 27 Jan 2007 00:20:35 GMT
After all these years it looks like I'm going to have bloody Virgin as my ISP again. It seems they've aquired NTL. I only hope they're better than they used to be all those years ago when this group was founded to allow ex-virgin.netters to stay in contact after they dispersed in search of a proper ISP. LOL D ...

I recently signed the petition against the introduction of a Travel Tax, http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/traveltax/ and while looking at the list of those who had signed was struck by the number of people who have not capitalised the first letter of their names. Scream ISP Forum     Thu, 16 Nov 2006 10:03:00 GMT
This web site seems very useful: http://www.the-scream.co.uk/forums/f4.html It's a forum which discusses ISP's, broadband problems, etc. It has a section for Virgin Net. It's free but if you want to post then you have to register (which is free and not a problem). I have no connection with it apart from ha ...

Bundles     Mon, 13 Nov 2006 16:21:33 GMT
Virgin Net are now offering "bundles" which include broadband plus free 01/02 phone calls - for LESS than their equivalent broadband-only plans. So what's the snag with the bundles? For example: Do the bundles include email accounts? There's no statement one way or the other on Virgin's web site. Do ...
